This might just be THE best mid range sushi (~$30-$60) in Austin. I ordered the 10 piece sushi combo and was blown away by every single piece, I was especially happy that they included tuna chutoro and uni in that selection. I also really enjoyed their shishito peppers and agedashi tofu. Service was also quick and attentive. sushi yume definitely is the epitome of excellent sushi without breaking the bank.

Our neighbor has been raving about their experience and asked a few times if we had made it in to try Sushi Yume! I passed him on the way with a "guess where we're headed?" The rave review was met without exception. Clean, bright, and simple decor (love the old record players). Service was prompt and courteous! Tried the shishitos (great dish with some unexpected flair), a side salad, Seared Tuna Sashimi, Salmon and Crab Sashimi, and a baked roll. All three rolls were exceptional. Can't wait to go back for more.

The sushi here is fresh and of great quality. Service is attentive and quick. The ambiance is casual, and the music is nice. We came in as a party of two around 4:30 PM on a Saturday. There was no wait for us, but the restaurant filled up quickly. Here's what we ordered: Scallop Sushi (2 pieces) $8 - 5/5 It came lightly seared. The scallops were really thick, and it felt like a bite of heaven. Truly satisfying! Aburi Salmon Sushi (2 pieces) $8 - 5/5 The salmon was thick and fatty. It was lightly seasoned and perfectly balanced. Chirashi Don $35 - 5/5 The presentation was amazing, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a piece of uni. Our bowl came with 8 pieces of fish, 1 shrimp, 1 uni, a little bit of ikura, tamago, and some pickled greens. The portion was generous, and all the seafood tasted incredible. Great price and excellent quality. Black Cod $13 - 3.5/5 This appetizer is good for two people to share. The cod was fatty and tender, but the seasoning was a bit too salty for my taste. The combination of fatty and salty made it less enjoyable, and I didn't want to keep eating. A bit more lemon might help balance it out. Ube Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream $10 - 3.5/5 The brownie was served warm but was a little hard, and the ube flavor was very subtle. It paired well with the ice cream, but overall, it was a mediocre dessert. This was my first visit, and I loved the sushi here. The prices are just right. I'll definitely be coming back!

We came on a Friday night and 7pm and we had to wait for about 50 minutes for a party of 4 to be seated. They do not take reservations but you can come and put your name down on a list and they will call you when your table is ready. I suggest you do that so you do not have to wait. The rolls are very good size and the prices are phenomenal. We ordered 4 rolls and 3 appetizers and it was about $100 that is an amazing deal. Everything tasted great. Quiet and understated place. Cannot wait to come back.

My friends have a standing Fri reservation here. I thought they were nuts but the food here is great! We like to stop in when we're hankering for some good sushi and can't get into our omakase spots. No fuss, not too fancy, but great sushi spot. Their tuna and salmon are nice and fatty!

Sushi Yume is FANTASTIC!! We were in the area for work and spotted this place nearby with great reviews - and boy, are this reviews justified! Everything was phenomenal! Service was lighting fast and friendly ! It was cold out so we began with Miso Soup that was perfect and also a deal at just $2 a bowl! Then I tried two of their Sashimi- a salmon with ruffle and tuna with jalapeño! Born some of the best o have ever had! It was all amazing and made for a perfect lunch!!

Wow! Sushi Yume is precisely what I needed! We saw all of the great reviews, so we decided to go check it out, and we are so glad we did! I was hoping it would be good, but the food here exceeded my expectations! Food: we loved everything we ordered! The rice in the sushi rolls and Chirashi Don was perfect! Unlike many other places, it was light and airy. Service: extremely friendly and attentive staff. They checked on us multiple times and made sure we were okay Ambiance: the restaurant has a cozy feel to it. It was casual and inviting. I highly recommend this place, and I can't wait to go back again and try some other dishes.

I can't believe it took me so long to find this spot! The food is delicious and fresh, the staff is extremely kind, and the restaurant is lovely and clean. I had actually gotten a blister from walking earlier in the day but didn't have any bandaids with me. The staff gave me a bandaid and I am so very appreciative for it Can't wait to be back!! Highly recommend.
